558.550 Salinomycin. Specifications: Type A medicated articles: 30 grams of activity from salinomycin sodium biomass. Conditions of use: Chickens (broilers) Amount: Salinomycin 40 to 60 grams with roxarsone 34.1 grams per ton of feed and bacitracin zinc 10 to 50 grams per ton of feed. Indications: For the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria necatrix, E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. brunetti, and E. mivati, and for increased rate of weight gain and improved feed efficiency. Limitations: Feed continuously as sole ration. Use as sole source of organic arsenic. Do not feed to layers. May be fatal if accidentally fed to adult turkeys or horses. Withdraw 5 days before slaughter. |
