558.195 Decoquinate. Specifications: Type A medicated article containing 6 percent decoquinate. Conditions of use: Chickens (broilers) Amount: 27.2 grams decoquinate per ton of feed and 10 to 50 grams bacitracin zinc per ton of feed. Indications: For the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. mivati, E. acervulina, E. maxima, and E. brunetti; for increased rate of gain and improved feed efficiency. Limitations: Feed as sole ration. Do not feed to laying chickens. Bentonite should not be used in decoquinate feeds. |

Chickens and turkeys (edible tissues): (1) 0.5 part per million in uncooked muscle tissue. (2) 2 parts per million in uncooked edible by-products. b. Chicken and turkey eggs: 0.5 part per million c.
