520.970b Flunixin meglumine paste. Specifications: Each 30-gram syringe contains flunixin meglumine equivalent to 1,500 milligrams of flunixin. Conditions of use: Horses Amount: 0.5 milligram of flunixin per pound of body weight daily. Indications: For alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders. Limitations: For oral use only. Treatment should not exceed 5 consecutive days. The effect of this drug on pregnancy has not been determined. Not for use in horses intended for food. Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. |
