Dosage Amount, Indications & Limitations |
558.363 Narasin. Specifications: Type A medicated articles. Conditions of use: Chickens (broilers) Amount: Narasin 54 to 72 grams per ton of feed and bacitracin methylene disalicylate 10 to 50 grams per ton of feed. Indications: For prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. brunetti, and E. mivati, for increased rate of weight gain and for improved feed efficiency. Limitations: Feed continuously as sole ration. Do not feed to laying hens. Do not allow adult turkeys horses, or other equines access to narasin formulations. Ingestion of narasin by these species has been fatal. |

Chickens (abdominal fat). The tolerance for parent narasin (the marker residue) is 480 parts per billion. The tolerance for residues of bacitracin from zinc bacitracin or bacitracin methylene disalicylate in uncooked edible tissues of cattle, swine, chickens, turkeys, pheasants, and quail, and in milk and eggs is 0.5 part per million |
