Lactating Dairy Cattle: 3 days before slaughter when dosed 10 ml dose in sesame oil; 4 days when dosed 6 ml rate in peanut oil.
Milk: 60 hours (5 milkings) must not be used for food when dosed 3 times with 10 ml in sesame oil or dosed twice with 6 ml in peanut oil. 84 hours (7 milkings) when dosed 3 times with 6 ml in peanut oil.
Dry Dairy Cattle: 14 days before slaughter.

526.1696a Penicillin G procaine in oil. Specifications: Each milliliter contains penicillin G procaine equivalent to 100,000 units of penicillin G in peanut, sesame, or soybean oil. Conditions of use: Cattle (lactating cows) Amount: Three dose regimen: administer by intramammary infusion in each infected quarter 10-milliliter dose (in sesame oil). Indications: Treating bovine mastitis caused by Streptococcus agalactiae, S. dysgalactiae, and S. uberis in lactating cows. Limitations: Treatment may be repeated at 12 hour intervals. Milk that has been taken from animals during treatment and for 60 hours (5 milkings) after the latest treatment must not be used for food. Animals must not be slaughtered for food during treatment or within 3 days after the latest treatment. Amount: Three dose regimen: administer by intramammary infusion in each infected quarter 6-milliliter dose (peanut oil). Indications: Treating bovine mastitis caused by Streptococcus agalactiae, S. dysgalactiae, and S. uberis in lactating cows. Limitations: Treatment may be repeated at 12-hour intervals.
