558.195 Decoquinate. Specifications: Type A medicated article containing 6 percent decoquinate. Conditions of use: Chickens (broilers) Amount: 27.2 grams Decoquinate and Lincomycin 2 per ton of feed. Indications: For the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. mivati, and E. brunetti; for increased rate of weight gain and improved feed efficiency. Limitations: Feed as sole ration. Do not feed to laying chickens. Bentonite should not be used in decoquinate feeds. |

A tolerance for residues of lincomycin in chickens is not required. Tolerances for lincomycin in swine of 0.6 part per million in liver and 0.1 part per million in muscle are established. Tolerances for residues of decoquinate in food are established in uncooked edible tissues of chickens, cattle, and goats at 2 parts per million in tissues other than skeletal muscle, and 1 part per million in skeletal muscle. |
