520.1310 Marbofloxacin tablets. Specifications. Each tablet contains either 25, 50, 100, or 200 milligrams of marbofloxacin. Conditions of use: Dogs Amount: 1.25 milligrams per pound of body weight once daily, but may be increased to 2.5 milligrams per pound of body weight once daily. Indications for use: For the treatment of infections in dogs associated with bacteria susceptible to marbofloxacin. Limitations: Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. Federal law prohibits the extra-label use of this drug in food-producing animals. Cats Amount: 1.25 milligrams per pound of body weight once daily, but may be increased to 2.5 milligrams per pound of body weight once daily.
